The Firearm Registration
Centre at the Vanderbijlpark SAPS is urgently appealing to the community of Vanderbijlpark, Bophelong and Boipaitong to come and fetch their firearm licences.
This matter is becoming a crisis as about 4 000 licences haven’t been fetched by the licence holders even after they were phoned.
The following arrangements were made to accommodate the community:
- Tomorrow (Saturday, 13 August 2011) the FRC at Vanderbijlpark SAPS will be open from 08:00 to 20:00 for this purpose.
- From Monday, 15 August 2011 the office will be open from 07:30 to 20:00 each day till Friday, 19 August 2011.
- The licence holder can send a family member, neighbour or friend to come and fetch the licence if he / she is unable to do so.
WE ARE APPEALING TO THE PUBLIC TO REGARD THIS E-MAIL AS MATTER OF URGENCY. FIREARM LICENCES THAT HAVEN’T BEEN COLLECTED ON THE 19TH AUGUST 2011 WILL BE SEND BACK TO
OUR FRC, HEAD OFFICE, PRETORIA.
